Private health care customers will be able to claim part of the service fees on the spot. We have a HICAPS terminal on site, which means we can simply swipe your private health care card in the clinic and you will only have to pay the gap. We also have credit card facilities on site for Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS transactions for gap payments.

WorkCover claims are accepted. Provided you have a valid WorkCover claim number, Fixio will bill the insurance company directly and you will not have to pay anything at the time of the consultation. Please read here.

CTP claims are accepted. Provided you have a valid CTP claim number, Fixio will bill the insurance company directly and you will not have to pay anything at the time of the consultation. Please read here.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (formerly Enhanced Primary Care) referrals are accepted. The full consultation fee is due at the time of the consultation, however you will be able to claim back a significant portion of the consultation from Medicare. Please note that this is not a bulk billed service.

DVA claims are accepted. Provided you have your DVA card and a valid referral from your General Practitioner, Fixio will bill DVA directly and you will not have to pay anything at the time of the consultation. Please read here.

Second opinion Physiotherapy is where an expert physiotherapist assesses your condition without previous bias in order to give you an unbiased diagnosis and treatment options. This can help to give you peace of mind that you are on the right track, or it may give you more options for treatment that you weren’t previously presented with. As healthcare professionals, we are all working together to help you to make the best decisions about your health and wellness.

Can I claim a second opinion Physiotherapy consult on Private Health Insurance?

Yes, you can claim a rebate on your session through Private Health insurance, just like our regular physiotherapy service.

Who will do my second opinion consultation?

Your second opinion consultations will be taken by our Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and Titled Muskuloskeletal Physiotherapist, Hayden Garner or Damien Glover, Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. He is an expert in difficult to understand pain presentations.

What do I need to provide prior to the consultation & how do I provide medical records?

We require you to send through any relevant medical information at least 48 hours prior to your consultation to allow us to best prepare to be able to help you.
