Private Classes

Our private classes are designed for people who need extra attention during exercise. Think of a private class as personal training except overseen by a physiotherapist; an expert in movement, mobility, strength and injury prevention.  

The people that we commonly have in private classes are: 

  • People who have never been to a gym before 
  • People who are scared of being injured in a traditional gym 
  • People who have become deconditioned due to illness or injury 
  • People who are recovering from an injury and need additional support 
  • Anyone who is fearful of movement 
  • People recovering from surgery 

 Our private classes are 1 on 1 with an expert physiotherapist. Our physiotherapists have different areas of expertise, so you can see s physio who is also a strength and conditioning coach, a pilates instructor or an exercise scientist!

I started seeing Hayden for a lower back injury with an inflamed disk (Things you do in the gym!!!). After only 8 weeks and some great planning by Hayden and the team I went from not being able to move to being back in the gym and back to doing what I love! Semi-private classes

For people who want to train with someone else, semi-private classes are the perfect blend of supervision and care (that make our private classes amazing) combined with the high energy vibe of training with someone else! 

Semi-private classes are the step between doing one-on-one sessions and joining a group class. Our clients tend to do only a few weeks of semi private classes before transitioning to a full (5 people) group class).

Yet we have a few people who want to train with a friend or family member. If you have a friend or family member that you want to train with, we can accomodate that as well!

That’s the best part, yes it does! As your session is run by a physiotherapist it can be covered by your private health insurance.  

Each class is tailored to you and the outcomes that you want to acheive. If you want to be using the reformer to get there, we can make that happen. Of couse, this is purely up to you and what you want. 

In short, only the qualifications of the team. Our physiotherapy team are experts in injury prevention as well as strength, conditioning and flexibility. You know you are getting the best. 

This is normal when we are injured. The exercises that you do in private classes will be dialled in to the level that you are wanting or needing. We aren’t going to rush you or force you to do anything that may put you in harms way.
