With enthusiasm and the largest smile in the industry, Laura is renowned for her compassion and desire to truly understand each and every patient. She is a constant cheerleader and inspires you to seek the best from yourself and to get results with your body. Laura has grown up and still resides in Collaroy on the Northern Beaches. Laura’s background in healthcare is full spectrum. On one end of the spectrum, she worked with patients suffering from a range of orthopaedic and neurological conditions
at Sydney Adventist and Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospitals. Her role consisted of pre- and post-op rehabilitation, exercise prescription, hydrotherapy and education sessions. Yet her passion for health and fitness drove her to attain her Certificate III and IV in Fitness through the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers which allowed her to train everyday people and elite athletes. It doesn’t matter what you come in with, Laura has experience with it! To add to her toolkit, Laura is now doing additional study to become a Women’s Health Physiotherapist Laura completed her 4-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University, North Sydney with a Distinction average. Laura upholds the stringent standards of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Laura is also a member of the Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health National Group and she is currently completing her Introductory Women’s Health Physiotherapy Level 1 course. Laura’s weekly non-negotiables consist of strength, conditioning and reformer pilates at The Cube Gym, coastal walks, long distance runs, Manly to Shelly swims, sunbaking down at Freshie or Fairy Bower, saunas/ice baths, quality time with family and friends and (of course) coffee. In 2023, Laura is training to run from Palm Beach to Shelly (30km), compete in Turf Games in the Gold Coast and achieve 10 unbroken chin-ups. Laura has a special interest in treating:
- Low back pain that can be felt in the hips/buttock
- Crossfit Athlete’s and other gym goers
- Hip and groin injuries
- Ladies during or after pregnancy
- Pelvic floor strength or people who need additional core retraining
