Nilam is our imported physiotherapy talent. She graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University after completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. Coming out of an extensive postgraduate degree, her clinical training encompasses a wide range of clinical settings, all developing her focus on patient-centred care.

Since graduating, Nilam followed her passion into private practice, where she can have a positive impact on the community by empowering others to reach their goals. She embraces a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment and rehabilitation by combining education, manual therapy, and exercise. Nilam has a keen interest in treating sporting injuries, neck, and upper back pain, and helping those that have had some time off exercise by providing them with the tools and support to regain control of their health and wellbeing.

Nilam is an avid sports lover having travelled internationally playing Division 1 soccer from the age of eighteen, giving her a great understanding of the extreme physical demands of elite sport and exercise-related injuries. Nilam has previous experience in sport and musculoskeletal rehabilitation through her work with various footy clubs (inc. Balmain Tigers, Hills FC, NSW Female AFL Academy, St. Patricks FC). In her spare time, Nilam enjoys travelling, hiking, catching sunrises and sunsets, and spending time with her friends and family. On the weekend, Nilam can be found at her local cafes, bars, or restaurants searching for the ultimate foodie experience.

Nilam is registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

Nilam has a special interest in treating:
    • Acute neck pain and wry necks
    • Low back pain injuries including disc injuries
    • Muscle tears especially calf, quad and hamstring tears
    • Knee ligament injuries (MCL and ACL tears) and meniscus tears
    • Pain associated with osteoarthritis
